  1. Deliverable format: We require a QuickTime video (1920×1080).
    • If uploading: upload H.264 (as a QuickTime Movie).
    • If dropping off a drive: Apple ProRes LT (must not be HQ).

Important: If you are uploading an H.264, do not create an MP4. You must select QuickTime Movie from the dropdown menu (H.264).

  2. Timecode / frame rate: The QuickTime you make must match your timeline’s timecode, which is generally 23.976 FPS. For PAL shows, the video should be 25 FPS. If your project is set up with 29.97 or true 24 timecode, please contact us before you start outputting your videos.
  3. Start time / 2-pop / first frame:
    • QuickTime must begin at 00:59:30:00.
    • The 2-pop must be exactly 2 seconds before the hour: 00:59:58:00.
    • The first frame of picture must be at 01:00:00:00.

If your editing timeline does not reflect the above specs, please adjust it before making any outputs.

  4. Audio scratch track: The video must contain an embedded audio scratch track, preferably with isolated dialogue on one channel and sound effects + music on the other channel.
  5. Composer delivery: Please ensure your composer receives video identical to what you’re giving Juniper in terms of picture edit and timecode format.
  6. Window burn: Place a small window burn of the show’s visible timecode near the upper-left corner.
  7. File naming: Please name the files “(Project Name) JP date”. Example: [ProjectName] JP 2026-02-20
